At Destenee Salon and Spa, not only do we have massage therapists on staff, but we also have an instructor on staff. The benefit to our clients is that they can often get same day appointments and our entire staff is up to date with the newest techniques. Our therapists are available for same day appointments and on many occassions we can even accept walk-ins! The Destenee Difference means that when you book an hour massage, you get an hour of hands on time, not an hour from from the time you enter the room. Many of our clients are so impressed with this service that they book weekly, biweekly or monthly appointments. Make sure to ask about our special packages. Massages
Swedish Massage
$75 for 60 minutes $115 for 90 minutes.

Swedish massage includes five styles of long, flowing strokes. The five basic massage strokes are Effleurage (Long and Flowing), Petrissage (Kneading), Tapotement (Rhythmic Tapping), Friction (Creates Warmth), and Vibration (Shaking or Rocking). Swedish massage is an extremely relaxing massage and pressure can vary from mild to firm depending on clients preferences. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in improving blood circulation, reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving function.
Swedish Hot Stones
$85 for 60 minutes $125 for 90 minutes

A stone massage uses water-heated stones to apply pressure and heat to the body. Stones coated in oil can also be used by the therapist delivering various massaging strokes. The heat from the stones warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows the therapist to apply deeper pressure, if desired.
Reflexology
$75 for 60 minutes $115 for 90 minutes

Reflexology involves massaging, squeezing or pushing parts of the feet, hands and ears with a goal of encouraging health throughout the body.
Deep Tissue
$85 for 60 minutes $125 for 90 minutes
*Series of Six: 60 minutes – $425 / 90 Minutes – $599
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia or connective tissue. Deep tissue massage is defined as slow, deep and specific. Swedish strokes are applied to warm the tissue and then deep tissue strokes are performed on specific muscles. Deep tissue massage is recommended to correct postural deviations, improve muscle tone and to expedite the healing process of an injured muscle. Deep tissue targets specific muscles and supporting muscles. It is not a full body massage.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of volatile plant oils, including essential oils during massage for psychological and physical well-being.
Prenatal Massage
$80 for 60 minutes $120 for 90 minutes
*Series of Six: 60 minutes – $399 / 90 Minutes – $599
Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage; to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it’s also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies.
Four Handed Massage
$80 for 30 minutes $150 for 90 minutes
Swedish massage techniques are used by two therapists simultaneously. This service is intended for the individual that really wants to spoil themselves or that special someone.
