Destenee Salon and Spa joins with Motion Fitness providing a Fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham.

The Ronald McDonald House of Durham is a very important resource to families in North Carolina and around the world. Families turn to them in some of the most difficult times of their lives. No one wants to think about a child being seriously ill, but it is reality. Can you imagine how much you would want to be with your child during these times? Can you imagine how much your child would need you? The Ronald McDonald House of Durham enables these families to stay together during these trying times.
We have some of the best medical resources in world available here in the triangle. These resources offer us a tremendous benefit. We have people coming here from all over to seek medical attention. Parents want their children to have the best care available and in many cases it is here. Many of these families can’t afford to relocate or to rent a place nearby. The Ronald McDonald house provides for them, but they need donations to make these services possible.
Destenee Salon and Spa and Motion Fitness understand the need for a business to give back to the community. On Sunday, August 23rd, we are offering a fundraising opportunity. Destenee Salon and Spa will offer FREE Haircuts and Motion Fitness will provide a free training session and open Gym. Although this event is free of charge, we will be collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham. The choice to donate is a matter of personal preference, but every little bit helps. If we all give a LITTLE, it will help a LOT!
